Malaysian Culture and Style

No shoes indoors
If you wear your shoes indoors, what difference is there between your home and the freeway? Wearing shoes indoors is rude, offensive, and just plain dirty. Please don’t do it.

Eat with your right hand
In Malaysia, it’s just as normal to eat with your bare hand as your fork and spoon. Nasi lemak, roti canai, and crispy prawn crackers are all fodder for your fingers — on the right hand. Your left paw is reserved for less-savory things.
