Kompleks Islam Tuanku Muhriz, Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) bore witness to a vibrant day filled with energy, enthusiasm, and intellectual exchange on 16 May 2025. From 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, our booth transformed beyond a sales point—it became an interactive space where language education, modern technology, and the spirit of da’wah came together in a meaningful and impactful way.
Highlights from Almotahida’s Booth
One of the main attractions at our booth was the “Arabic for Life” dictionary collection, available in three language versions — Arabic–Malay, Arabic–English, and Arabic–Mandarin. The series was designed with a modern, student-friendly, and contextual learning approach.
We also introduced Virtual Reality (VR) technology as a casual attraction at our booth, allowing visitors to enjoy an engaging and interactive virtual experience—perfect for a relaxing break while exploring modern technology.
The Kalemon Adults series was another highlight—well-received by both students and adult learners seeking to master Arabic in academic, professional, and everyday settings.
A Distinguished Guest: Sheikh Majd Makki

The event was further graced by the presence of Sheikh Majd Makki, a prominent scholar from Syria. He visited USIM to deliver a special khutbah titled “Divine Guidance Towards the Liberation of Al-Aqsa”—a spiritually powerful message that left a lasting impression on the congregation.
After the sermon, Sheikh Majd visited our booth, exploring the educational materials on display and expressing his full support for our efforts in Islamic education through modern tools.
His visit was not just an honour—it was a powerful source of encouragement for our entire team.
An Overwhelmingly Positive Response
Throughout the exhibition, our booth was abuzz with energy—visited by students from various faculties, USIM lecturers, staff from Kompleks Islam Tuanku Muhriz, and members of the public. Many stopped by to ask questions, test our materials, and make purchases.
We were especially moved by the positive response from visitors without any formal background in Arabic or Islamic studies—many were curious, open, and eager to learn.
One thing was made crystal clear by this event:
When high-quality learning tools are combined with student-focused, tech-savvy approaches, the impact is truly exceptional.
Our Gratitude & Future Aspirations
We extend our heartfelt thanks to USIM’s event organisers, all the visitors, and everyone who supported our booth. God willing, we look forward to bringing this same energy and mission to more locations—making Arabic learning accessible, relevant, and inspiring for all.
